This is an area that I am currently developing into several programs and courses for individuals and groups.
Horses already know before you are even remotely close to their bubble to catch them or touch them whether you are happy, sad, angry, frustrated, nervous and many other complex emotions. They are exceptionally perceptive animals and have a unique ability to read and react to what you are putting out into the world. When working with horses, you are constantly working on yourself - I once read from a horseman "I don't work on my horse, I work on myself". Throughout my work with horses and humans I am reminded time and time again of this amazing guidance from the horses, and once we change something within ourselves, the change happens in the horse too. I have utilised a lot of this work naturally through my lessons and teaching and I aim to bring a specific development program to the general public that will assist anyone to help with confidence, self awareness, self growth, self development and many other facets.
Over the years I have watched and observed our herd dynamics and interactions within the horse herd and their interactions with me and other people. I am fortunate to have 9 very special horses in our herd that each bring a different dynamic to the mix through their own life experiences, character, innate abilities and behaviour. I trained in 2007-2009 in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy through the internationally recognised E.A.G.A.L.A organisation.
I will be combining all of my knowledge, skills and intuition into these programs and look forward to launching these shortly.
