What do you need to know to prepare for the treatment?
- A treatment takes roughly 1.5 hours for your session particularly if it is your horses first treatment. - We will need a flat area to work in. - Avoid shoeing/trimming if possible, dental work, vaccinations, worming and clipping 4 days after a treatment. - Horses generally need a couple of days off after treatment - depending on the severity of issues and the regularity of treatments it can be from 2-7 days. A horse that has regular Body Work and being treated for maintenance 24 hours will be fine, whilst a horse that is rehabilitating may need up to a week off in severe cases. Please take this into account when booking. - Turnout with the freedom to move is ideal after a treatment.
Please Note***** Cancellation fees are applicable for appointments that involve travel more than 45 minutes. If cancellation is received inside 48 hours, full fee is payable. If you need to cancel or have changed your mind, I don't mind but please be considerate and advise with plenty of notice, the night before is not considerate and will mean I have a gap of 2 hours in between appointments for out of town.
